victory is here: your bookshelf needs this rn

Hey lookie there!! The Victory issue of Oh Beloved One has hit the internet! Get yourself a print edition and learn more about it at www.ohbelovedone.com.

Will the feeling of hitting the “publish” button ever get old? Will flipping through a delicious PDF version of the magazine ever stop making me grin like an idiot?

I highly doubt it.

It is my great honor to unveil the VICTORY issue of the magazine. Something I love about the magazine is that I also get to enjoy all the amazing articles our writers submit and, lemme tell you, they really came through this time. I felt so energized after laying everything out!

So, enough jabbering, right? How can you get one?

“your bookshelf needs me” — our latest magazine

We’d also love you forever and ever if you’d share the magazine on your social media.

And hey! As long as you’re still here, enjoy some screenshots of the magazine below.

This dedication was kinda a last minute thing . . . but I’m so glad I threw it in there. I love book dedications, so why not dedicate a magazine??
I loveeeeee this spread! It was one of the last things I worked on. My mom watched over my shoulder and helped lay it all out because it was just too crammed at first and we had so many beautiful photos I hadn’t included at first.
The fonts here make me so happy. Didot is delicious.
Speaking of delicious . . . that “V”?? Totally makes this layout. The righthand page was inspired by the work of David Carson.
We have so many talented girls on our creative team. Leah does photography primarily, and we introduced a few other photographers in this issue. Emma and Rachel do absolutely gorgeous illustrations (the ones above were by Emma) and Cami is an amazing letterer.

If you made it to the end of this post . . . kudos to you!! Your patience is commendable. Now, off with ye! Grab a copy of the magazine. Seriously . . . every time I see we sold an issue, I wanna do a dance. I’ve wanted to do this since I was a little be-spectacled 12-year-old.

Man. She’d be so proud.

All right, let’s fangirl: What’s your favorite article? Favorite illustration? Favorite spread? Did you purchase an issue?
