pray day: a guide + free printable for 15 hours of prayer

A free printable of prayer prompts to help you pray every hour of the day, showing your dependence on God and growing in your prayer life. From ohbelovedone.com, a blog and magazine for Christian young women.

“Sponsored” by our Intercede issue. This issue features 15 articles about cultivating a life of prayer, plus 5 journaling sections to apply what you learn. You can purchase it in print or read it for free online.

Whoa there—fifteen hours of prayer?! Who are you, George Muller? Daniel?!

Wednesday is our first ever #OhBelovedOne Pray Day. We’ll be hosting it on Instagram. It was inspired by something I did in the early days of my mom’s cancer diagnosis. I just felt the weight of the physical, mental, and spiritual battle going on in both my mom and my family.

(Reading after Pray Day? That’s fine! You can still download the template below OR visit our Insta highlights to see all the prompts for the day; just set a timer on your phone to remind yourself).

It drove me to my knees, which was much needed! I simply wrote down each hour of the day on an index card and gave myself prompts. That day, I kept an eye on the time and when I noticed it was a new hour, I’d check my prompts and say a quick prayer.

I’ve grown to love these little prayer sprints. So, now it’s your turn! Download your free printable below. This Wednesday (May 6), I’ll be posting prompts for every new hour of the day, along with verses or passages to help get you in the right mindset. Follow along with the prompts or just use the hourly posts as a reminder to pray for whatever is on your own heart.

This is perfect because Wednesday is also a fasting & prayer day for my church. <3
